CELEBRATION OF THE MAMA WITHIN ALL OF US

I love the work of Carl Jung around Archetypes.  He says that every person around us or every label for a type of a person is an Archetype we carry within us.  An Archetype is a symbol that represents an certain energy to our conscious mind that - when internalized into our psyche - helps us mature and grow into a
FULLY EXPRESSED EMOTIONAL ADULT.

This Friday, in honor of Mother's Day on Sunday,
let us dance to honor both the Mother's in our world around us
(and I believe ALL women are Mothers, birthing creations of some kind into the world)
AND
let us dance to embody the Archetype of the Mother within us.  That part of us which seeks to
create, gestate, birth, nurture AND
give room for death when it is needed to create new life.
These are all the ways in which MAMA can show up in our world.

So without, so within.
