An interesting article I picked up on Facebook today…explains a lot!
The Unleashed Mind: Why Creative People Are Eccentric
Basically, the author explains the link between certain things that does not happen in the brain of more creative people: creative people literally have less sensors firing to filter the information that the brain is picking up around them. Sometimes this can lead to schizophrenia type disorders…where people hear voices or the like. Sometimes it just leads to highly creative people that just do not seem to fit in as well. I really “connected” with this article in some parts where it talks about these types of people having more deja vu than others…I thought this was just “normal” part of life so I am really not sure where this puts me! Yet, the whole concept was really interesting. The more I learn about the brain the more I just am blown away at God’s creativeness in making such a thing.
