I have mixed feelings about this event…but one thing I do know is that DANCE HEALS by getting us out of our minds and into our hearts – where LOVE REIGNS. And Burning Man is all about the Dance!
While we spend most minutes in our minds arguing about what religion or political side is right, whether or not this food is good for you or vaccines save lives….what would a world look like if we spent more time in our hearts? Not THINKING about getting into our hearts…but doing it?
One of the easiest ways to do just that is to dance like no one is watching…shake your head, your chest, your booty….spin in circles till you can’t think anymore.
So many Burners believe they have to go to the Playa to find this place in abundance…but what would a world look like if it was here?
So while the Burners are out on the Playa – a lot of them dancing…I was inspired this morning (read the post below for that) to send out this request for some companionship in the challenge to get out of my head that keeps me from sleeping and into my body where I feel LOVE.
Will you commit to dance one song (or more!) starting today thru Labor day in honor of the true heart of Burning Man: To rip down the cultural ways we entrap ourselves into a mind prison so that we can be ourselves – which is..
PURE LOVE!
Doesn’t matter where you are on the planet…and yet there is something MAGICKAL about dancing outside under the moon in the morning…or the sun at sunset…or in your bathroom singing at the top of your lungs.
Doesn’t matter if you are a Burner missing the Playa, a one time Burner who never wishes to go back, a buddhist, a christian, a jew, a republican, a democrat, a muslim, a hater, a lover, a bisexual, a nonsexual…or something in between.
Because in the Dance we are all ONE…
Just get up and move that booth!
Just dance!
