Dear Sisters,

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year’s and everything in between, before and after!
While the business of buying for our list sweeps us away, I ask you to invite in a deep breath, ponder that saying while asking yourself this question:
help me truly thrive in my life in the New Year?”
If you are like so many women and moms in the Bay Area and worldwide, this question most likely never even crosses your mind. For we are trained as women to forgo our own needs in order to take care – and buy – for all the others.
Are you read for a change?
Are you ready to move in your life differently in 2016?
If so, consider pausing long enough to ask yourself this question, to sit in that pause in your body long enough to let your body FEEL the sensations of this question.
Then, if and when it feels right, ask yourself some of these questions. Even grab a journal, put the pen to the paper and write non-stop for 5, 10, 15 minutes on what gets stirred in the deep inner recess of your heart.
* How would my life look differently if I gave myself the gift of my own attention?
* What would my life look like If I gave myself the gift of the basic requirements to live a healthy and semi-balanced life where I am feeding my soul as much as I am feeding every one else’s?
* What would my relationships look like if I gave myself this gift?
* How DO I WANT TO FEEL about myself and my body at the end of 2106?
* How do I want to use my words to create a world where I and my loved ones can thrive?
* What is one small baby-step I know I need to take in order to move towards feeling that?
Again, take a pause into your answers. Allow the weight of the words spoken out loud of that last one to land in you. And then commit to sharing that one small step with someone you trust in your life and give them permission to check in with you on how it is going.
If you are ready to take that small baby-step, I invite you to reach out to me and allow me to help you get your stocking filled with just the right gifts that will fill you up this next year.
