I live right next to the city’s public park in which there is a beautiful Rose garden and a fountain. When I first moved in I thought I would take daily strolls around the fountain in a somewhat labyrinth form. I have not.
Yet, today after rushing back from dropping off the kids, I set the intention of moving my body & grounding myself first before jumping into my days work of coaching, writing and kids.
As I came back from the park where I go hang upside down for a few minutes on the monkey bars (have you tried this one yet??), I decided to take a stroll through the garden…sloooooooooowly. Like one step every few seconds, and then even pausing in between steps to re-attune my body, my energy to the gently flowing sound of water and sway of energy moving through these glorious flowers all around me.
I didn’t do this for long, yet even in just the few minutes I moved through this intention – I could feel a shift, a quieting, a stillness of comfort moving in and through my body.
And then I saw this rose…and allowed myself a moment to notice it and ask myself what it was saying to me? What was it showing me about myself?
It answered with the vision of I’m opening – with yet more opening to occur. It reminded me in whispers of the immense growth I have had in my life with the promise of more to come. It spoke to me of how my life has been delicately opening up to the world and of how the world is beginning to reflect back the beauty of the work I have and am doing in my own Soul. It nodded at the gentle way in which I will continue my opening.
So, my challenge to you today is to set the intention to find a piece of nature
* take a SLOW GREEN WALK around this piece of nature and
* allow a part of it it speak to you of where you are in your journey, allow nature to reflect back to you who you are today and the promise you hold within.
