OTHER HELPFUL RESOURCES

There is not one right path to clearing the inner ideology of Patriarchy from one's psyche.

There is no set road map or time length this will take.

My work on Substack & YouTube is a culmination of my journey thus far and meant to be a framework for us to build on.

The Sacred Tryst - a historical biblical novel (series) - is the embodiement of my vision of this work. It revisions the past starting with a "new" creation story 'The Genetrix', reimagines Mary Magdalene as the Christ...and will show how we can revamp our history with a wider angle lens to paint a new present and future.

Here are others that have been of help on my journey. Check back often as I find more!

  • Seek SafelyIn 2009, in a unregulated sweat lodge in Sedona, AZ, hosted by James Arthur Ray (a man highlighted in the movie "The Secret" who was not an indigenously trained man to host a sweat lodge) 3 people lost their lives. One of those souls was Kirby.  Her family started SEEK Safely as a way to guide self-help consumers in their journey to grow -- and keep Self-Help practitioners accountable for their actions through legislation. They host a podcast, ask practitioners to sign their PROMISE and bring forth legistation in a world where self-help has never been held accountable (this includes the religions - the first self-help cults in the world).

  • The Vow - Season 1 & 2 by HBO ~ helped me to see the larger paterns between Christian Evangelicals & the toxic self-help world
  • Seduced: Inside The Nxivm CultIndia Oxenburgs personal experience of NXVIM (which was fascinating to hear her mom's journey in The Vow and then her own in this one)

  • A Little Bit Culty  - Hosted by Sarah & Nippy who were some of the whistle blowers of NXVIM
  • WTF is on My Mind?! - by Mark Vicente, also a whistle blower of NXVIM and a kindred FORWARD thinking mind in this world of deconstructing all of patriarchy.

SUBSTACKS that compliment/add to Deconstructing Patriarchy Work

  • FemmeHealth Ventures Alliance by Maryann who exposes how Western Medicine has made women the "deviants" to the norm of men in our health care system and helps us find ways to invest in vital women's health initiatives
  • Own Your Ambition by Bonnie Marcus who writes about women's empowerment and gender issues in the workplace and beyond.
  • The Female Body Politic by Lorissa Rinehart who writes about exploring the past, present, and future of women in American Politics.
