Trust in the Lord with all your heart
Lean not on your own understanding
In all your ways Acknowledge Him
AND
He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Sometimes all we can hear is the call…
The Call
to get up, take our mat and go,
to go and sin no more,
to go and make disciples…
…followed by a
“Do you trust me?”
He doesn’t give the step-by-step play book on how we are to get to
the place He has called us to…
for He wants us to demonstrate our trust in Him.
He doesn’t tell us how all the logistics are going to work out…
for He wants us to use the brain He has given us…
and to put our faith into practice.
He doesn’t tell us what path to take to our calling place…
for He wants us to say we are “all in” and then get up off
our derriere and show that we are “all in.”
Then….
then…
in doing this, in being active in our practice of faith…
then
He will remove the blinders,
the weeds and thorns the snarl around our path,
and
He will turn the Light on
so we can see the paths we have chosen clearly.
And they, the paths,
WILL lead us to
His Calling Place.
